There are a number of trendy and funky bars at Cafe Quarter with some other locations for nightlife being mostly situated in St Mary Street including Liquid-Life and Walkabout. The city Centre is central to a number of popular venues including Tiger Tiger Cardiff, Varsity and Oceana. Mill Lane is also a brilliant area in Cardiff to visit,
Living in Pontypridd:
There is a range of excellent social venues across Glamorgan for students. Firstly, the university’s student club is called Shafts nightclub, which is extremely popular amongst students and is located on the Treforest Campus. In Pontypridd there is Kudos Late Lounge and Bar and a number of other great clubs and bars for students to enjoy.
Pontypridd is only a short train journey from Cardiff and therefore you have the benefit of shopping locations nearby if needed which provides benefits as you can explore a number of different areas. Pontypridd is a market town and has a number of excellent markets, which attract customers from far and wide.
