Currently in Glasgow there are only parking zones in three areas that require permits. These are the city centre, Hillhead and Garnethill and the West of the city centre. Permits are available through the council and the prices for the separate areas are listed on their website.

Glasgow has an excellent shopping experience and there are numerous shopping centres located across the City. One of the most recent developments in Glasgow is the Buchanan Galleries, which is located in the heart of the City Centre. The Buchanan Galleries is an indoor shopping centre which has a range of popular High Street shops ranging from a John Lewis department store to fashion outlets like Mango.
