Living in Canterbury:

Canterbury is a City with beautiful ancient Roman Architecture. Located in the South East of England students at the University have the benefit of a great location in Kent which is near London and other large Cities.

The shopping experience in Canterbury is second to none and there is a brilliant range of shopping facilities for you to enjoy. Firstly, there is a shopping centre, which is open air and allows you to experience the surrounding of the beautiful atmosphere and location of Canterbury. Whitefriars shopping centre has a range of shops and is also home to Fenwick department stores which has a collection of popular retailers. Secondly, Marlow Aracde again in the heart of the city and providing a great range of shops. Lastly, you can find a number of hidden indepedant stores down all the cultured side streets.

There is a good selection of pubs and clubs in close proximity to the University and surrounding student areas that host student nights throughout the week. There are only a handful of clubs in Canterbury which include Club Chemistry, Studio 41 and Chill. There are also a number of pubs and bars in the town centre and although not an extensive list of nightclubs, events such as Carnage run each term. The University itself has a number of venues to explore!
